On January 11, 1951, the Nevada Proving Ground site was established for Nuclear Testing. It was also composed to approximately 1,350 (3,500 km) area was desert and mountainous terrain. On January 27, 1951 they had dropped the first nuclear devices, this test is calles shot "Able" from Operation Buster, with a yield of 21 kilotons. There we're test that were Atmospheric, Underground, and Exoatmospheric, these we're the testing that we're experimented in the Nevada Testing Site. Test is shot "Dog" from Operation Buster, with a yield of 21 kilotons. It was the first U.S. nuclear field exercise conducted on land; troops shown are 6 mi (9.7 km) from the blast. By September of 1992 the Untied States had counted about 1054 in total of the nuclear devices on the NTS (Nevada Testing Site).
History[]
In January of 1951 the Untied States Department of Energy reservation had issued a Nuclear Testing Site that would let Nuclear Testing Atomic Weapons that could be used for the weapons against the Enemy in any critical case. The first Nuclear Testing was on January 27, 1951, they had tested there first nuclear weapon that was called "Operation Blaster" their were many other Operations that we're held in the Nevada Testing Site. In the Nevada Testing Site  there were 27 areas that they had tested in Nevada Testing Site which had many cavitys and other radioactive contamintations. Many Nuclear Testing we're being made, the first nuclear was dropped on July 16, 1945 it was called "Manhattan Project" the codename was called "Trinity" this was sapposed to demintrate was a Nclear Drvice is supposed to do and the actual size before they start to use them against Japan.
Nuclear Testing that were carried out in the Nevada Testing Site[]
Enviorment after impact[]
Between 1951 to 1992 the Nevada Testing Site was an outdoor labitory, which had about 928 which were announced and 828 were underground out of the 928. This area was one of the most secure area in the United States. The Nuclear Testing Site was also used for Nuclear Rocket Development Program. The nuclear testing in Nevada was doing underground testing that leaves a cavity full with radioactive rubble, some of the tests were right under the aquifer which is an underground layer of water that water-bearing permeable rock or unconsolidated materials (such as gravel, sand, salt, or clay). when the testing was over with in 1992 the Energy department estamated that there were 300 millions of radiation in one site that was radioactively contaminated places in the United States. The enviorment was that they had a waste of radioactives that needs to be cleaned up today that the United States had issued a clean up on the NTS. This effected the citizens in Las Vegas which increaded cancer rates and also increadeds birth deffects.
